On March 17, 2026 the San Diego City Council decisively adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism, joining 47 countries, more than 35 U.S. states, and cities nationwide in recognizing this vital tool that provides a clear framework to identify and address antisemitism. This victory is the result of ADL volunteer mobilization, partnership across our Jewish community, including StandWithUs, AJC, Jewish Federation of San Diego, and many others under the Finest Community Coalition.
